The Flowing Art of Eddy Cobiness

Eddy Cobiness was raised at Buffalo Point Reserve in Eastern Manitoba, and was a painter since his childhood. No matter what job or position he had, he always worked to become a professional artist. Dave Courchene, former president of the Manitoba Indian Brotherhood, helped him reach that goal by taking a personal interest in his work, which was presented to Queen Elizabeth, Premier Ed Schreyer, and to Jean Chretien. He illustrated two books and exhibited at the Royal Ontario Museum. These prints are priced at $500 U.S. and up.
